A up to 4 cm thick layer of finest tiger's-eye along with haematite. In top view this piece almost looks black or mahogany. At least the mahogany sections resemble petrified wood. But its only a trick of nature. The colour is caused by iron oxide from the surroundings within which tiger's-eye arises.
