An outstanding piece with with curved shapes and soft edges that invite to be explored by touching. A up to 4 cm strong layer of pure tiger's-eye, interveined with haematite are enclosed by rich layers of silicic iron oxide. Those layers almost give you the feeling of mahogany coloured petrified wood. At least the colour is caused by iron oxide from the surroundings within which tiger's-eye arises. The rest is trick of nature.
